WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Inside Sales Associate (ISA) is primarily responsible for the identification of prospects, outreach to prospects/qualification of leads, and tracking outreach in CalCog’s CRM tool.

This role will build Caligor Coghlan’s (CalCog) market position by researching, identifying, and outreaching to potential clients/prospects. The successful candidate will have a “hunter” mindset and be able to execute on multiple campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact potential clients throughout his/her assigned region for the purpose of qualifying new business leads and aiding the growth of CalCog market share.
  • Make successful connections between prospects and CalCog’s Business Development team to move the business forward.
  • Maintain sustained sales activities through emails and phone calls while utilizing CalCog’s CRM to input new prospects/request, track activities/changes, and maintain a comprehensive management of accounts and contacts.
  • Conduct research and analysis on small to medium size pharmaceutical and biotech companies in his/her region to identify prospects for CalCog’s services.
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on new trends, opportunities and required changes.
  • Attend and present at both internal and external business meetings.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

  • 3+ years of proven experience in inside sales and lead generation.
  • Technical understanding of operations and stakeholders within the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
  • Attention to detail and impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills especially around prioritizing and triaging obligations.
  • Overnight travel up to 5%.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours to accommodate UK, EU, and US time zones.
